Last week the designers on Project Runway All Stars 2014 had to roll dice to get the material they were going to use and the event they were designing for. This proved to be very interesting, especially when one of the designers on Project Runway All Stars season 4 decided they were going to try and give another designer advice. This week on Project Runway All Stars season 4 the designers have to design looks for dating-site singles, this should be fairly easy, right? Wrong! They designers are used to designing looks for women, this week will also include male models and some tempers are going to flare.You are not going to want to miss any of the drama on this week’s episode of Project Runway All Stars 2014!
Tonight’s episode of Project Runway All Stars starts out with Alyssa Milano telling the group that they are going to be working in pairs and Sonjia picks Dmitry and then pairs everyone else up as well because she won last week. She put Jay with Fabio, Michelle with Sam and Helen with Justin.
The pairs have a budget of $300 and only one day for this challenge, their pairs are in the work room waiting for them! They get into the work room and reality hits and they realize that they also have to dress a man. The pairs are talking to their potential couples trying to figure out what they are going to dress their couples in.
After going to Mood and getting their fabrics, they get back to the work room and start designing. Michelle isn’t feeling well and Sam doesn’t seem to be helping her out much and Michelle is getting a little frustrated with this. Zanna is now in the work room giving her critiques and everyone seems to be getting some great reviews.
Sonjia is told that her dress is a little complicated and pageant like, Fabio is told that his look is different, yet sophisticated. Jay asked what he is thinking making a pick jacket for a man, even though they got the only gay couple in the bunch. Jay tries it on and realizes that it is a lot of pink and not a lot of grey, so he changes the sleeves to grey and keeps the pick chest and back.
It is now time for fittings and for hair and makeup for the singles! The designers are really excited because the looks are coming together so well and the singles seem to like their looks as well! I really like Michelle’s male look and Sam’s look for her girl. Sonjia’s dress, after some revamping, came out amazing!
It is now date time! I’m, not a fan of Fabio’s look, the shirt is very stiff looking and it is not very flattering for his guy, but Jay’s guy looks really good. It’s like a mix match couple. Other than Fabio’s shirt, I really like all of the other looks, I feel like the designers did a great job with this challenge considering they only had a day to do it!
The second part of this challenge is for hem to get their singles ready for a runway show! The singles come back in for hair and makeup and then make their way to the runway! Who do you think will win and who do you think will be going home tonight on Project Runway All Stars 2014? Let me know!
The guest judge tonight on Project Runway All Stars 2014 is Lavern Cox! The first look on the runway is Sonjia’s and I really do like the fit and color of her dress, her date, done by Dmitry is also very stylish with his black pants and black and blue sweater. Sam’s single is very cute in her crop top and skirt, her date, done by Michelle looks very modern and edgy.
Jay’s look is super cute, but I have an issue with the pants, Fabio’s look is not my favorite, I hate the shirt and the pants are horrible. Helen’s single is very cute in her dress and Justin’s look for her date is amazing, they look adorable together too. Everyone is getting a critique tonight, they are going to start with Sonjia, Dmitry, Sam and Michelle!
Sonjia and Dmitry are first and their dates had a great time and Sonjia gets great reviews, but the judges were underwhelmed by Dmitry’s look. Sam and Michelle are first, Sam is given mixed reviews and so is Michelle. The next set are Justin and Helen, Helen is told that the shirt is took silky pajama looking and she is also told that her dress looks maternity, but Alyssa and Lavern gave Justin high scores for his look.
Jay and Fabio are the last team and Lavern actually talked the guys into kissing on television, they are a cute couple and said they had a great time on their date. The judges love Fabio’s look and Jay’s look as well, I hated them both. What do I know about fashion? Apparently not enough, haha.
Dmitry, Sonjia and Michelle are safe and Fabio and Jay are the top two and the winner is Fabio! That leaves Sam, Justin and Helen in the bottom, Sam is safe and the designer going home tonight is NO ONE! They are both getting a second chance because they were both able to successfully create chemistry between the couples they worked with.
